Mindfully Moving, Peacefully Sitting
A fusion of Meditation, Stretching, and Free Flowing movement.
The perfect combination of luxurious stretching, mindful balancing poses, moving flow sequences, free form movement and peaceful sitting practice set to a backdrop of ambient and rhythmic music.
We begin with a short quiet sitting meditation to reconnect with our inner most precious peacefulness. We’ll make a smooth transition into gentle, flowing movements and long luxurious stretching. As the energy rises, you will be guided through a sequence of gentle movements, exploratory movement sequences and free-form movement, where you will be encouraged to listen to your body, to the music, and to respond with whatever is present for you in that moment. We then return to an awareness of the breath, and presence in the moment, through a guided sitting meditation practice.
If you have avoided meditation because you think you can’t sit still, come try this class. If you are experienced with meditation, and would love to add a movement component, I invite you to join us and Move with Joy!!
